“J-Stars Victory Vs” (PS3/Vita) Release Date & Price Announced

The J-Stars Victory Vs updates are coming fast and furious now. Tokyo Game Show brought us a slew of new character and gameplay updates, and issues of Jump-branded magazines are filling in even more gaps, with next week’s upcoming 2013 #47 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump in Japan (due out on Monday, 21 October)announcing even more for the crossover fighting game extravaganza.

Following on the heels of last week’s announcement that Medaka Kurokami of Medaka Box would be a playable character, the characters to be introduced next week are all female.

Three of the four characters introduced this time are support characters: Lala Satalin Deviluke of To Love-Ruwill restore the player’s stamina; Chitoge Kirisaki from Nisekoi can disable opposing support characters with a stinging slap; and Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach can freeze opponents using her Zanpakutō, leaving them open to attack. The lone fighter among next week’s additions is “Pirate Empress” Boa Hancock of One Piece, who will be able to use the Devil Fruit powers of her “Love-Love Fruit” to turn opponents to stone.

Perhaps most important of all is the game’s release date and pricing scheme. The game will finally drop 19 March 2014 in Japan on both the PlayStation 3 and Vita, with normal and “Limited Edition” versions of both. The “Limited Edition” will run ¥10,980 yen and ¥9,980 yen on the PS3 and Vita respectively, with the normal edition running ¥7,980 and ¥6,980 for the same platforms. The release date announcement also mentions a limited-edition “Anime Song Sound Edition” (presumably containing vocal songs from included series’ respective animated adaptations, though there is no actual explanation of the item) to go on sale at the same time, but it is also unclear at the moment whether this is the same as and included within the “Limited Edition” listed above, or represents a separate product with an as-yet unannounced price.

Online retailers have yet to update with appropriate listings for the four different SKUs, but we will keep you updated and point you in the right direction as soon as they are available. The PS3 and Vita are both essentially region-free, with only minor caveats thrown into the mix (such as Persona 4 Arena being software-region-locked on home consoles, and the Vita generally requiring multiple memory cards for multiple profiles and reboots, though they both will indeed play games from all regions).

‘To Love Ru Darkness 2nd’ Latest Anime Series Delaying Its Ending

While in some ways we don’t really want to believe it’s intentional, there’s a growing number of shows that are getting their final episodes delayed for a number of reasons. The latest to join this trend is that of To Love Ru Darkness 2nd, which is not ending quite when fans thought it would be. The official Twitter account for the property has announced that after the twelfth episode aired yesterday that the thirteenth episode will be delayed until October 28th, 2015. The bonus side of the delay for fans is that it’s being combined with the fourteenth episode of the series to make for an hour long special.
Crunchyroll is currently simulcasting the series and Sentai Filmworks has previously picked up the additional streaming and home video rights.
The original staff is back for the show with Atsushi Ootsuki directing it at Xebec with Yuichi Oka on character designs. The cast includes Aki Toyosaki as Momo Belia Deviluke, Misato Fukuen as Golden Darkness, Yuka Iguchi as Mea Kurosaki, Akeno Watanabe as Rito Yūki, Haruka Tomatsu as Lala Satalin Deviluke, Sayuri Yahagi as Haruna Sairenji, Kanae Itō as Nana Astar Deviluke, Kana Hanazawa as Mikan Yūki, Kaori Nazuka as Yui Kotegawa, Ryoka Yuzuki as Risa Momioka & Celine, Satomi Arai as Peke, Mamiko Noto as Oshizu and Rina Hidaka as Mea’s Master.
Property concept: Rito Yuki has more women in his life than he knows what to do with. In case it wasn’t enough to have all three Devilukean princesses under one roof, he now has alien girls from all over the galaxy attending his school, too! But when the arrival of a mysterious red-haired girl threatens one of their own, Rito and the girls must stand up to a powerful adversary- the likes of which they’ve never seen before.
The second season of the sexy adventures of Rito Yuki and the aliens girls that keep showing up in his vicinity continue in To Love Ru Darkness 2!

Lala Satalin "Lala-chi, Princess" Deviluke

Birthday: July 7
Age: 16
Height: 165cm
Weight: 50.5kg
Size: 89 - 57 - 87
Zodiac sign: Cancer

Princess of Deviluke. Ran away from home so she doesn't have to get married. Uses many self-made inventions. At first she was pretending to love Rito to keep from getting married, but eventually she fell in love with him. She has physical abilities far beyond that of a human and also has a distinctive tail coming from her back (which is very sensitive).

Being an alien, Lala has far more strength, power and speed than the average human. Her physical strength (without any inventions or powers) surpasses any human on Earth, and maybe even some aliens in the solar system. She has also shown slight durability even with her own tongue, like when she ate one of Run's really spiced sandwiches and it didn't even phase her.

She can fire laser beams from her tail. However, her tail is both her weapon and her weakness. On Planet Deviluke, females' tails are far more sensitive than males'. When someone touches Lala's tail, she becomes weak and seems to lose her strength, though she can shake anyone off of her tail with her astonishing strength.

Perhaps Lala's most distinguishing ability is being an extraordinary inventor. She is considered a genius and has made many inventions; however, Lala very much has the personality of both a perky child and an absent-minded scientist, resulting in all of her inventions being very toy-like, troublesome, and serving no important purpose besides fun, mischief, and unintentional fanservice. A running gag in the plot is that her inventions usually do not work as well as Lala and the others had hoped, often resulting into a perverted accident.

List of To Love-Ru characters

Rito is a 15 (currently 16) year-old high-school student and the protagonist of the series.[1] Rito used to be on the soccer team in junior high and was quite good, but quit because he was constantly helping his father with his manga artist duties, thus did not want to leave his sister Mikan alone in the house. Mikan comments he is very good at the most "useless little things", like crane and festival games (e.g. hoops, catching fish, squirt guns). Along with the numerous useless little things Rito is good at, he is also an accomplished florist, gardener, and horticulturalist.

Rito's nature is borderline clumsy, where he always ends up molesting or groping the many girls in the series (though mostly unintentionally). He is extremely kind, selfless, caring, charismatic, and thoughtful and has a lot of respect for women, though mostly by intention, and not so much by success. Due to his shyness around girls, he is very clumsy around women and has great difficulty maintaining his composure around any sort of stimulating situation. Even without interference from Lala's inventions, Oshizu's psychic powers, or Celine jumping into his face, Rito is on his own clumsy enough to trip over absolutely nothing, and possesses an extraordinary skill in accidentally reaching his hands or face into the breasts or other private parts of any girl within reach when he is falling.

It is only by accident that he encounters Lala Satalin Deviluke, and despite his enduring feelings for Haruna Sairenji, Rito shows signs of developing deeper affection towards Lala throughout the story but is unsure if what he feels is actually love. This is shown again when he couldn't help but think about Lala even though he and Haruna were naked together. It is recently revealed that he is in love with Lala, but he is also in love with Haruna. At the end of the series, he confesses to Lala, but tells her he also loves Haruna, yet she is happy on both parts. He is confused as polygamy is illegal in Japan where Lala replied that once he is king of the universe the laws of earth no longer apply and forces him to go tell Haruna (strapping a jet pack to his back). Right before he was about to tell her, she moves out of the way, just like when he confessed to her very early in the series, leading him to state "I love you" to all of the female cast with the exception of Momo, Mikan, Golden Darkness (Yami), and Haruna herself. The ending implies that his "love" troubles will continue on into the future.

Riko Yuusaki (夕崎 梨子 Yūsaki Riko?)Voiced by: Akeno WatanabeAs Riko Yuusaki, his female alter-ego, she is a beautiful girl (with a physical appearance resembling a tomboy) who gets much attention from men, such as Motemitsu, the perverted principal and even Saruyama, Rito's best friend. Later, Saruyama falls in love with "Riko-chan" and asks Lala to invite her for a date; out of pity, she forcefully changes Rito into "Riko" so Saruyama can go on a date with Riko. After that Riko only appears for short amount of times at rare occasions.

Mikan Yuuki (結城 美柑 Yūki Mikan?)Voiced by: Kana HanazawaRito's independent and reliable 12-year-old sister, Mikan takes care of the housework while their parents are away on business and watches after Celine. In contrast to her brother, she is very mature and does not hesitate to tease him, going as far as stating they aren't blood-related, but quickly retracting the statement, playing it off as a lie. Mikan also seems to have a certain lack of respect for Rito because of this (she hardly ever addresses him by his honorific as an older brother), but does refer to him as "Onii-chan" as thanks for trying so hard to take care of her when she develops a fever[2] and when he gives her a Christmas present. Mikan may not show it, but she cares very deeply for Rito and misses his company, to the point one could suspect her of having a brother complex. This is more evident in the second OVA where she wonders if he would marry her if they were not blood related, and in the manga where she blushes every time another character mentions her brother, and also in the 5th OVA where after being hit by the pollen she tries to molest him while affectionately calling him "Onii-chan". Her brother complex may be the reason she rarely calls Rito "Onii-chan"; less a lack of respect and more a sign of her wish that their relationship was something other than that of a brother and sister. She also states how she and Rito used to play together before Lala entered their lives.[3]

It is later revealed that Mikan is terrified of thunder and lightning (and that Rito would always comfort her).Mikan grows quite attached to Golden Darkness, perhaps due to Darkness seemingly being the same age as her.

Mikan is very perceptive and seems to be able to read people's emotions, even their reactions, most of which is Rito's obvious anxiety around Haruna and Yui's subtle feelings for him. Mikan even calls him a "playboy" (as does Nana) for attracting so many girls all of a sudden. Mikan, however, does respect Rito's relationship with Lala, even going so far as to tell Momo not to get too close to Rito for Lala's sake, although it is fairly obvious that she could have done this out of jealousy from how close Momo was getting to Rito.Mikan appears with Celine in the series Mayoi Neko Overrun! as customers in the manga series chapter 1 and with some friends in chapter 3.Saibai Yuuki (結城 才培 Yūki Saibai?)

Voiced by: Keiji Fujiwara Rito's father is a manga artist and is very different compared to Rito in terms of both looks and personality. Saibai draws at amazing speeds and can be utterly serious before deadlines are met, but seems to have a bit of a goofy side, such as making a joke about Rito and Lala "sleeping" together every night and punching Rito when he got drunk and mistook his son for a burglar. With the help of Lala he returns for the Christmas party, stating how much Zastin and his workers have grown since starting out. In the anime, he writes a (not-so-encouraging) letter to him at the end of the first season.

Ringo Yuuki (結城 林檎 Yūki Ringo?)Voiced by: Sayaka OharaRito's mother is a fashion designer and a scout for fashion models. Normally working overseas, she returns home to check up on the family. Despite initially appearing to be refined and chic, Ringo's personality is equally as odd as Saibai's, where she has a tendency to start sizing women up with her hands, whenever she spots pretty girls. Ringo seems to take her work very seriously, having immediately entered "work-mode", when she meets Lala and Haruna for the first time.[4] Like her daughter, Ringo is also highly perceptive, able to read Haruna's feelings towards Rito. With the help of Lala, she returns for the Christmas party and mistakes Celine as her son's child.

Lala Satalin Deviluke

Lala Satalin Deviluke (ララ・サタリン・デビルーク Rara satarin debirūku?) is the main female protagonist of To-Love Ru and Motto To-Love-Ru, but takes a more minor role in To-Love-Ru Darkness. The story begins with Lala running away from home as she didn't want to get married to any of her suitors. Due to an accident, she ends up naked in Rito Yuuki's bathtub. Upon arriving on Earth, Lala pretends to love Rito to keep herself from getting married, but really fell in love with him after she misinterprets a statement that Rito shouts in self-defiance.

Lala is a highly attractive teenage girl with long bubble gum pink hair, emerald green eyes, curvaceous and often referred to as a perfect girl. Her most distinguishing feature is her tail which extends down from the base of her back. Her tail is long, thin, and ends with a heart-shaped tip. Another feature is that she is almost always seen wearing a hair clip with thick black swirls circling once then pointing downward. This is her robot companion Peke who actually forms the clothes she is currently wearing. Ryoko Mikado referred to her in chapter 30 as "Devilukean" in a manner which suggested it was the name of her species. At the beginning of the series she is almost always seen in her costume robot Peke's "Dress Form", in what can only be called an enlarged version of Peke herself. Wanting to fit in more with the people of earth, she now has Peke dress her in various earth clothing styles; she has also bought herself a large number of earth clothes to wear when Peke is out of energy.

From chapters 44 to 56 of To Love-Ru Darkness Manga Series, Lala was temporary turned into a small child-like version of herself due to using too much of her power, similar to her father. On the day she returned to normal, her body gradually aged up in 2-3 year increments.

She is incredibly enthusiastic about the smallest things and has a very bubbly and slightly childish nature, which is most likely the result of being raised as the first princess of Deviluke. Although she can also be a bit of an air-head and a scatterbrain most of the time, she is known for her genius-level intellect as seen in her amazing array of inventions; her planet even wanted to use her for weapons research and engineering. She is very caring and generous and appears to have a need to make everyone she cares about happy, even those of which she doesn't have any real relationship with, such as her teacher. This trait, along with her vast intellect, is obviously one she inherited from her mother. She is very naive about earth culture and will often make highly dangerous mistakes by either accident or serious miscommunication.

Despite her naturally cheerful and somewhat childish nature, Lala is not as emotionally immature as she would appear. She has, on rare occasions, become upset and angry at other characters even Rito over serious issues. One incident in particular involved her spending the night with Haruna because Rito had yelled at her, which made her doubt if her affections would ever be reciprocated (Chapter 31). She also sometimes is known to lust over Rito. One great demonstration of her emotional maturity was when during the Trouble Quest incident, her sisters tried to force Rito to admit his feelings for her but upon seeing the stress he was under stopped them after having already found out that he does like her in some way. After this, Lala noticed that Rito was under a lot of stress due to his confession in front of Haruna. Lala later admits to Rito that she could sense that he was upset, Lala felt very upset and guilty due to the fact that it was her sisters who caused Rito's confession. After a talk with Haruna, and another talk with Lala, Rito felt better (Chapter 99).

As a child, Lala led a very mixed lifestyle, having the company of her robots, sisters and Ren/Run. However, she also underwent something of a refusal to have a real childhood. Having a mother that was almost never around, constantly having to be taught things she had no interest in against her will and being 'raised' by her father who never spent any time with her, she greatly longed for a pent-up need to express herself creatively and happily to overcome such underwhelming and even traumatic instances, which more than likely resulted in her very cheerful, very upbeat personality she never seems to let go of.

She has also shown an amazing level of compassion for other characters, beyond simply being charitable or helpful. One example of this is when Haruna admitted to her that she is also in love with Rito, Lala not only moved out of his cupboard in favour of a joint house in the roof with her sisters but also stopped throwing herself at Rito to hug him in order to be fair to Haruna and make it easier for her. Another example is when Lala and her sisters were younger and fought each other, Lala would often leave her inventions around so that they would settle their differences and work together, even though it would result in Lala getting lectured by Zastin.

On some occasions, Lala will say something ironic in relation to her own decisions. For instance, telling Saki not to run away from home, or telling Momo not to sneak into someone's bed when they are sleeping, hinting at a small piece of hypocrisy in her.

Due to never really being alone her entire life, she has no notion of modesty and is more than happy to walk around naked, but has in more recent times gotten better at knowing where and when not to be naked, though she still makes a habit of walking out of the bathroom naked when she needs something. It can be pointed out that although Lala holds no real issue with appearing naked around people, more so in recent times, she is in no way perverted or in any way interpreting the action as sexual. She actually is for one very bashful when it comes to being touched or viewed in a sexual way or from any overly compromising angle. Rito found out about this after she landed on top of him when they were on their way to save Celine and was for once incredibly embarrassed about this. However, while she has no sexual intentions, Lala seems to take some amusement from making Rito blush and panic, a sight which she has declared 'cute' more than once.

She is also incredibly optimistic. A good example of this is at the end of To Love-ru (original), Rito confesses to Lala that he loves her and that he loves Haruna too, she just says to marry both of them, being completely okay with a concubine. Later in the chapter Rito accidentally says "I love you" to almost the entire female cast she is even more ecstatic saying that he can marry everyone.

In To Love Ru: Darkness, Lala has seemed to mature slightly, though she still will walk around the house naked at times and continue her other usual tendencies. Lala and Rito seem to have a much better friendship, especially due to the fact that Rito confessed his love to her. However she also constantly tries to push Rito into confessing to Haruna as well, so the three of them may get married, Lala has even put her feelings aside until then, she no longer clings to him very often. As the series progresses Rito realized that it is bad of him to treat Lala as if she's insurance to his love with Haruna, and even starts to consider Lala's offer of marrying both of them, which he constantly shakes off.

With some encouragement from Momo, Lala starts showing her love towards Rito like she did before as her old childish clingy self, but Momo showed her some love simulation game to teach her how to express her love in a more adult way. Afterwards, she warped to him while he was taking a bath and and asked to try a kiss.

Despite her childish personality and immaturity, it has been stated by Momo and felt by Rito that Lala has an "overwhelming impish aura," with Momo wondering just how strong it would be if Lala ever found out what happens after a kiss. (To Love-Ru Darkness chapter 35)

Little Lala

As the first daughter of King Gid and Queen Sephie of Deviluke, Lala was born the first princess of the planet Deviluke. She has two known siblings, the twins Nana and Momo, whom she is very close to. As a child she was friends with the Memorze royal Run/Ren, though she seemed to prefer Run who she used to unknowingly torment. She is known to have a rather pleasant relationship with her father as she warmly recalled to Rito of a time that she was lost in the forests of Deviluke and how her father found her and took her back to the palace on his back. It was not long after then that she built Peke the costume robot which allowed her to fly and gave her a permanent friend to always be with. As the first princess and presumed eventual successor to the throne of Deviluke, it appears that she must marry so that both she and her spouse can rule together. As such she was continuously presented with male suitors, all of whom she has turned down. When she finally couldn’t take it any longer, she escaped from her home but some men chased her out of panic she warped to earth so that she could have some freedom and temporary safety.
